Attempted Arson Incident Leads To Window Broken For Local Business

The Peterborough Police Service are investigating an attempted arson at a Peterborough business early Monday morning.

At roughly 3:22 a.m., officers were called after a gas can was thrown through a window of the business in a plaza near Lansdowne Street West and Webber Avenue. 

Although the sprinkler system activated, there was no fire but extensive water damage occurred.
