At roughly 4:33 p.m., the suspect vehicle was travelling northbound on Monaghan Road, just south of Sherbrooke Street. The vehicle left the roadway, drove onto the sidewalk and struck a pedestrian from behind. The vehicle then returned to the roadway and continued northbound on Monaghan Road without stopping.

The vehicle appears to be a dark-coloured SUV and may have sustained some damage to the front passenger-side light or grille.

The 23-year-old pedestrian suffered minor injuries as a result of this collision.

Police say there is no known connection between the pedestrian and the vehicle. Police also believe the suspect vehicle continued northbound on Monaghan Road to Parkhill Road, where it turned west on Parkhill Road.
