One Peterborough Woman Wanted On Warrants and Drug Possession Arrested; Second Woman Arrested For Assaulting An Officer
/Two Peterborough women have been arrested on various charges, including assault, theft and drug possession, after an incident Tuesday morning.

At roughly 8 a.m., Community F.I.R.S.T team officers conducted a standby to keep the peace in the area of Wolf Street with the City of Peterborough by-law enforcement.
They recognized a 33-year-old woman who was wanted on warrants and placed her under arrest on the strength of two outstanding warrants for:
Fail to comply with probation x2
Fail to comply with undertaking x2
Theft under x2
During the arrest, a glass pipe and suspected drugs were located.
Officers further charged the accused with:
Possession of a Schedule I substance
The accused was held for court on Tuesday.
While officers placed the woman under arrest for the above charges, a 55-year-old woman became upset and assaulted a City of Peterborough by-law officer.
The 55-year-old Peterborough woman was placed under arrest and charged with:
Assault
The accused is currently on a probation order with conditions to keep the peace and be of good behaviour.
The accused was further charged with:
Fail to comply with probation order
