Peterborough Man Wanted On Three Warrants Arrested

A 44-year-old Peterborough man wanted on three warrants was arrested Thursday night.

At roughly 11 p.m., general patrol officers spotted a man wanted on warrants walking in the area of Donegal Street and McDonnel Street.

Police confirmed that the man was wanted on three outstanding warrants for:

• Theft under $5,000 x4

• Possess a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking x3

• Use of a credit card

• Failure to attend court, along with a warrant for committal

The man was arrested and taken into custody. The accused is being held in custody and will appear in court on Friday.
