Peterborough Police Lay Three Stunt Driving Charges Over Three Days

Officers with the Peterborough Police Service Traffic Unit laid three separate stunt driving charges in the past three days.

Two drivers were recorded exceeding the speed limit by going 92 and 95 km/h in a 50 km/h zone on Lily Lake Road and Dolman Street between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. on Wednesday.

Both drivers were issued a 30-day driver’s license suspension and a 14-day vehicle impoundment.

A third driver was issued a stunt driving charge on Friday just after 6:30 a.m. An officer with the Traffic Unit recorded the vehicle going 101 km/h in a 50km/h zone on Lansdowne Street, just east of River Road.
