Peterborough Police Seeking Stabbing Suspect Who Wounded Victim In the Abdomen

Peterborough Police Service officers are investigating a stabbing incident that led to a man being taken to multiple hospitals on Saturday night.

At roughly 11:20 p.m., officers were called to a residence in the Park Street South and Romaine Street area. Officers learned that a male victim had been stabbed in the abdomen during an altercation with another man known to him. The victim was taken to Peterborough Regional Health Centre and then transferred to a Toronto-area hospital by ambulance for further treatment.

Officers and a K9 unit searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect.  At this time, the victim is not cooperating with investigators.
