Peterborough Woman Charged With Assault After Allegedly Punching Another Woman
/A 32-year-old Peterborough woman is facing assault and uttering threat charges after an incident on Monday afternoon.

At roughly 12:50 p.m., officers were called to the area of Perry Street and George Street about a disturbance. The suspect had approached another woman, allegedly punched her and then verbally threatened her when police were called. Officers located the suspect at a nearby residence and took her into custody without incident.
