Petes Fall To Knights In London 10-2

The Peterborough Petes were in London for an afternoon matchup against the London Knights on Sunday, ultimately falling to the Knights with a final score of 10-2.

In the first, the Knight’s quickly took the lead with three goals by Ryan Brown, Jaxon Cover and Braidy Wassilyn. Brennan Faulkner put the Petes on the board with a goal, assisted by Matthew Perreault and Braydon McCallum.

The second period was eventful for the Knights as they secured five goals in total from Henry Brzustewicz, Jaxon Cover, Evan Van Gorp, Braidy Wassilyn and Jaxon Cover.

The third saw two more goals for London by Jesse Nurmi and Rene Van Bommel, while Peterborough’s Leon Kolarik brought the Petes final goal count of the night up to two.

The Petes are back in action on Jan. 29 when they host the Sudbury Wolves. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. at the Peterborough Memorial Centre.
