Ahead of the team’s home opener, the Peterborough Petes got to meet and interact with fans at AON Inc’s support rally held at Princess Gardens on Saturday afternoon.

The event had vendors, autograph sessions and a slapshot contest all while fans could meet and interact with the Petes and their mascot, Roger.

Dignitaries such as Mayor Jeff Leal and Peterborough Police Chief Stuart Betts were also in attendance during the event.

The Petes have their home opener against the Kingston Frontenacs at the Peterborough Memorial Centre on Sept. 28.
