Stunt Driving Laid After Driver's Cellphone Video Surfaces to Police
/A 26-year-old Peterborough man is facing several charges after an investigation into a cellphone video showing high rates of speed on Monday.

The Peterborough Police Traffic Management Unit was made aware of a cellphone video where the motor vehicle's owner recorded himself travelling 2.5 times the posted speed limit on The Parkway (150 km/h in a 60 km/h zone).
Officers were able to confirm the date, time, location and speed of the vehicle.
The driver was located and charged under the Highway Traffic Act with:
Drive motor vehicle - perform stunt - speeding by 40 or more km/hr in a zone that is less than 80km\h
Speeding 150 km/h in a 60 km/h zone
Drive - hand-held communication device
