Help Bring Fire Hall Park In Warsaw Back To Life For The Kids

There is a group of community volunteers in Warsaw who are aiming to raise $10,000 to rejuvenate their Fire Hall Park. The money raised will be added to roughly $16,000 that has already been set aside by Douro Dummer Township for the project. The playground is in disrepair: There is a teeter totter structure that has had the teeter totter boards removed due to safety concerns, and a swing set structure with no swings attached. All that really remains is a toddler swing set and a rusty old slide. To help kick off fundraising efforts, volunteers are having a spaghetti dinner this Saturday, June 7th at the Warsaw arena (upstairs). The dinner runs from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and is $10 per person. You get a plate of pasta, salad, a roll and some apple pie. Go out for a yummy meal, and a great cause—to bring a park back to life for children.
