New Local Entrepreneurial Competition Bears' Lair Starts Up

The Bears’ Lair is an entrepreneurial competition in the style of CBC’s The Dragons’ Den, developed by the Peterborough-based Workforce Development Board. It was created to encourage entrepreneurship in the Peterborough, Haliburton, Northumberland and Kawartha Lakes regions. The winner gets an interest-free business loan of up to $50,000.
