The Peterborough Police Service is asking the public for help locating Sara, a 40-year-old Peterborough woman reported missing on Saturday.

Family members reported her missing after becoming concerned for her well-being and being unable to contact her. She was last believed to be travelling toward the Orillia area and may also have connections to Barrie.  

Sara does not have access to a vehicle and may be travelling on foot or relying on others for transportation. Her current whereabouts are unknown.

Sara is described as:

  • White

  • 40 years old

  • 5’4”

  • Thin build

  • Long, straight brown hair

  • Hazel eyes

Peterborough Police Searching For 60-Year-Old Man Reported Missing On Friday

UPDATED: 17-06-26 5:13 p.m. The individual has been found.

The Peterborough Police Service is asking for the public’s help in locating Herbert, a 60-year-old Peterborough man reported missing on Friday.

He was last seen on June 9.  Since being notified, officers have been searching known locations. Family and police are concerned for his safety and Herbert does not own a phone and does not drive.

He is described as:

  • White male

  • Bald

  • White/grey goatee

  • Blue eyes

  • Missing two front teeth

  • Approx. 5 ft. tall

  • Muscular build

  • Approx. 165 lbs

  • Unknown tattoo on left shoulder

  • Tiger tattoo on the left side of the chest

Peterborough Police Seeking Missing Teen Girl Who Left Home With Suitcase

UPDATED (10-02-26): The missing teen has been located and returned home.

The Peterborough Police Service is asking for the public’s assistance in locating 14-year-old Brooke.

She was seen leaving home with a suitcase between 3:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. on Monday and was spotted again around 6 p.m. at the Tim Hortons on George Street. Throughout the night, officers checked known locations but she has not been located. 

Brooke is described as:

  • White female

  • Brown hair

  • Brown Eyes

  • Slim build

  • Wearing a green coat, white and red Nike shoes and black leggings

She was last seen in the area of Frank Hill Road in Peterborough on Friday.

Madison is described as:

  • 5’6”

  • 125 lbs.

  • Shoulder length brown/blonde hair

  • Might not be wearing a coat or shoes

Stephen has been found according to the Peterborough Police.

The Peterborough Police Service is seeking the assistance of the public in locating a 70-year-old man named Stephen.

On Monday, the Peterborough Police Service received a missing report that Stephen was last seen by his tenant Thursday, at his residence in the Bennet Street and Barnardo Avenue area. 

Police, family and friends are concerned for his safety. It is believed he may be on foot.

Stephen is described as: 

  • Male, white

  • 6'3"

  • Medium build

  • Grey medium length straight hair

  • Grey beard

  • Unknown clothing

The Peterborough Police Service are requesting the public’s help in locating a missing 13-year-old girl, reported on Tuesday afternoon. 

Hayley was last seen on Tuesday at approximately 12:45 p.m. in the area of Towerhill Road and Hilliard Street.

She is described to police as:

  • White female

  • Blonde shoulder-length hair

  • Approximately 125 lbs.

  • Nose and ear piercings

  • She was wearing a white tank top and shorts

Police are concerned for her safety as she does have some health issues.

The Peterborough Police Service and Kingston Police Service are asking for help in locating a 49-year-old woman Shannon Mingo, reported missing on Monday afternoon.

Mingo was last seen in Kingston on Jan. 25 in the Charles Street and Montréal Street area. She is known to have ties to the Peterborough area.

Mingo is described as:

  • 5’0 with a medium build

  • Shoulder length red dyed hair

  • Last seen wearing a pink hooded sweater, black pants and black shoes.
