Get ready for the ultimate treasure hunt in East City! On May 13th the East City Neighbourhood Yard Sale will have over 60 houses and businesses hosting a yard sale on their front lawns.

Whether you're a seasoned collector, bargain hunter or just looking for some good old-fashioned fun, there will be something for everyone. From furniture to clothing, books, toys, tools and everything in between, you never know what gems you'll find.

Check out Flossophy (75 Hunter St. E) for live cotton candy spinning during the event!

Come explore East City's best bargains. Who knows, you might even find that perfect item you've been searching for.

Mother’s Day Weekend Amongst the Vines

Treat mom with an exclusive day at Rolling Grape Vineyard: signature mimosa, carefully crafted brunch, a wine tour and a free floral gift.

The Head Chef has created a one of a kind Mother’s day Brunch Board which includes a selection of cured meats and local cheeses, thick cut candied bacon, house made quiche, dill cream cheese, smoked salmon, yogurt parfaits, chocolate covered strawberries and Nutella cinnamon rolls.

After, join Wine Maker Jon Drew for a short walk up to our production building where he will give you a look into the behind the scenes of Rolling Grape Vineyard. Finish off your morning with a taste of wine straight from the barrel, paired with our decadent Rolling Grape Vineyard chocolates.

Love homemade chocolate? The Head Chef will have a limited amount of small chocolate gift bags available for purchase on your visit.

Come check out what family yoga is all about and make some hilarious and sweet memories together!

Family yoga is all about connection and gives us a way to bridge the age gap using co-operative games, group work, partner work, dance, music, songs, acro-balance, role exchange and more. Come prepared to travel, wonder, bend, breathe and laugh!

League 1 Ontario Men's Home Game - Electric City FC vs Masters FA

The Electric City Football Club Men’s Team host the Masters FA for a regular-season match at Fleming College.

The Venue will be hosting a Mother’s Day Brunch on Sunday, May 14, 2023
Activities for the entire family!

1st Session – 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM
2nd Session – 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM

When: May 14, 9 a.m. and 12 p.m.

Where: The Venue (286 George St. N, Peterborough)

Peterborough Fibre Arts Festival

Peterborough Weavers and Spinners Guild invite you to come and celebrate everything fibre! 

Spinning, Weaving, Dyeing, Felting, and Basketry supplies will be available, along with demonstrations throughout the event.

Vendors will be selling fluffy fibres, beautiful yarns, books, patterns, kits and Artisan quality gift items.

Free parking is available in the underground lot under Galaxy Cinemas.

When: May 13, 10 a.m.- 4 p.m.

Where: Peterborough Square lower level (340 George St. N, Peterborough)

Tickets: Admission is $5 cash and kids under 12 are free.

 

Pottery Date Night Mother’s Day Event

Explore something new together and try your hand at one of the potter’s wheels alongside someone special. Share a special moment while learning the basic technique in throwing a pot.

It is important to arrive 10-15 mins ahead of time. The pottery studio is downstairs so the door will not remain open. It is a long process for pottery to become ready to come home, so allow 3-4 weeks for your pottery pieces to be finished for you. We will call you once they are ready for pickup.

When: May 14, 1 p.m.-3:30 p.m.

Where: The Art School of Peterborough (174A Charlotte St., Peterborough)

Tickets: $90 per couple (Additional costs: For every piece you would like to keep, they will finish, fire and glaze for $10 a piece; mug handles are an additional $5. This must be prepaid the night of the workshop with cash, cheque, debit or credit card). You can keep as many pieces as you wish.
