YMCA Invites Community to Try Its Programs During Free Trial Week

The YMCA Balsillie Family Branch on Aylmer Street in Peterborough is offering a free one-week trial membership from September 21st to 27th as part of TrY My Y Week.

The week gives new and returning participants an opportunity to explore YMCA facilities, programs and services, while current members can invite friends and family to experience the Y.

Activities throughout the week include fitness classes and clinics, aquatics programs, recreational sports, open gym and open swim. Children ages 0 to 9 can also explore the indoor Treehouse playground during open and staffed hours.

Current members who refer a friend will be entered into a draw for YMCA swag. If their referred friend joins with a three-month membership commitment, the referring member will receive two free biweekly membership payments.

New members who join during TrY My Y Week will receive their first biweekly membership payment free and be entered into a draw for YMCA swag.
