Peterborough, Ontario native Dave Thomson returns home for the release his new EP Canadian. Peterborough will be the first stop for Thomson on his Canadian release tour and marks the official first day of release. Thomson will perform Wednesday, March 4th at The Spill, 414 George Street North at 8:00pm. Tickets are $10.00 and available at the door. This tour features performances in his home province of Ontario as well as dates in Newfoundland where he currently resides.
“I am very happy with the new EP. My team worked hard to help this project come to reality. I am honored the first day of release will be in my hometown with so many friends and family,” says Thomson.
Canadian is a collection of new and road tested songs crafted and aged overtime since the 2012 release A long Road Home. During this time Dave has worked on several collaborative writing projects, which appear on Canadian. This EP represents a taste of evolving concepts and new ideas to come. Dave partnered with A long Road Home Producer Dean Stairs on this new project. Canadian will be Thomson’s first release on Stairs new label Citadel House Records. This collaboration is the first of three albums to be released on Citadel House Records over the next twenty months.
“This past year has been a journey for me with many new opportunities and friendships. I am excited for the release of this project and look forward to working with Citadel House Records,” says Thomson.
The Canadian release tour will begin on March 4th in Ontario.
