Nomad's music weaves in and out of crisp structure, improvisational jungles, and simple melody. Formed in 2012, the Montreal sextet is a fixture at Resonance Cafe and has performed in the Maritimes, at the Toronto Jazz Festival and under the tallest tree in Parc Jarry. Produced with support from the Canada Council for the Arts, 'As We Are' was recorded at Breakglass Studios in Montreal and captures the spontaneity and energy of the group's live performances
