Women’s Business Network Hosts Speaker Ann Douglas

Are you living your dream life or have you convinced yourself to settle for second-best? In this thought-provoking presentation, Peterborough-based author Ann Douglas will encourage you to embrace rather than fear the possibility of change.

Learn about the power of self-compassion (how treating yourself with kindness and gentleness as opposed to bullying yourself opens the door to possibility), the magic of connection (the importance of finding allies who will truly support you on your journey of change and growth), and the secrets to setting yourself up for success (how to set goals that are realistic, measurable, and achievable—and to maintain your commitment to achieving those goals).

Expect to be inspired and moved by the wisdom and stories shared by this informative and entertaining speaker—a best-selling author and mother of four who has experienced a transformative health journey.

The evening will also feature the WBN’s trademark networking and social hour with exhibitor tables, followed by a plated dinner. Members have the chance to share positive experiences about fellow businesses and community members during Twoonie Testimonials, as well as opportunities to promote exciting events and programs with each Door Prize. The WBN’s featured speaker, Ms. Douglas, will present at 7:30 p.m. following dinner.

Registration is open until Friday, September 30, 2016 at 12:00 noon, and costs $40.00 for guests. Guests may register online at
