A Peterborough Pet Portrait Photographer Is Donating Services At Special Event
/Peterborough photographer Niki Allday has a real passion for animals—and it shows in the beautiful pictures of pets she takes as part of her professional photography services.

Allday has deep empathy for rescue animals—and those who help save their lives, such as the Lakefield Animal Welfare Society (LAWS).
So alongside It's A Dog's Life Peterborough, she will be hosting Pet Portraits for Charity on Saturday, June 4th at Jackson Park, with all proceeds going to LAWS.

"Jesse Guerin (owner of It's A Dog's Life pet services) and myself have come together to create this event to raise funds for the Lakefield Animal shelter," Niki tells PTBOCanada.
"We are both very passionate about animals, and both owners of rescues," she adds. "Jesse adopted his dog (Tulo, named after Toronto Blue Jay superstar Troy Tulowitzki) from St Martin through Cavan Hills Vet and mine (Zoey) was rescued north of Bancroft."

"We want to give back to the community by donating our time and services to an organization that does so much," Niki tells PTBOCanada. "LAWS is such an amazing place that continues to serve Peterborough and the surrounding area with love and determination for animals. They fight every day to find forever homes for animals, and care for the sick, nuture the elderly, and look after abandon, abused and orphaned animals."

They are asking for a minimum donation of $10 to get your pet photographed for this special event, and 100 percent of the proceeds will go to LAWS.
In return, people will receive up to three edited photos of their pet. They are also accepting food, treats, toys, blankets, leashes and collars as donations for LAWS.
