There is a benefit for Anita Blackbourn (Carey) January 23rd at The Junction starting at 8 pm. After two years of being in remission, Anita has stage 4 breast cancer, and it is incurable. She has started her treatments but it is going to be a long road for her and her family. Anita, who just turned 40 in August, is married with two young daughters, 13 and 11. Tickets for the benefit are $5 at The Junction, and there will be a silent auction and draws for some great prizes. The benefit money will go towards the family for travel and future support.
