Cody Crowley To Be Presented With A Key To The City

Canadian Professional Boxing Council Canadian and International super-welterweight champion Cody Crowley will be presented with a Key to the City by Mayor Diane Therrien at the City Council meeting starting at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, October 15th.

Crowley, who is from Douro just outside Peterborough and now resides in Las Vegas where he trains, is 17-0 in his professional boxing career including four bouts at the Peterborough Memorial Centre that were organized by his promotional company, CCC Promotions, that he co-founded.

On Saturday, October 19th, the 26-year-old will be returning to the Peterborough Memorial Centre for Homecoming V: Going Global, fighting against Mian Hussain from Montreal in an event that will be streaming internationally on UFC Fight Pass.

Mayor Therrien is presenting a Key to the City to Crowley in recognition of Crowley’s achievements in the sport of boxing and for proudly representing the City on the international stage.

Cody Crowley is also speaking on Wednesday, October 15th at Fleming College about healthy routines and fitness for mental health awareness.
