The Peterborough Petes fell to the Kitchener Rangers, 6-3, at the Kitchener Memorial Auditorium on Friday night.
Adam Levac, Gerry DiCunzolo and Matthew Soto scored for the Petes. Carson Cameron, Adam Novotny, Matthew Perreault, Genc Ula and Brennan Faulkner each had an assist. Masen Johnston made 35 saves in the loss.
On Saturday, the Petes hosted the Ottawa 67’s but was on the losing end of a high-scoring affair as the visitors won, 8-5.
Matthew Soto led the way for the Petes with two goals and an assist. Adam Novotny and Aiden Young both scored and had an assist. Carson Cameron scored, with Brennan Faulkner, Gerry DiCunzolo, Adam Levac, Blake Gowan, Braydon McCallum and James Petrovski all picking up a helper.
Plushies will fly at the next game as the Petes host their annual Teddy Bear Toss against the Windsor Spitfires on Thursday. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. at the Peterborough Memorial Centre.
