PTBOCanada Featured Post: Find Your Calling at Volunteer Peterborough's "Meet Your Match" Volunteer Fair On May 7

In celebration of National Volunteer Month, the Meet Your Match Volunteer Fair is back, hosted at Peterborough Square on May 7 from 12:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Hosted by Volunteer Peterborough, Meet Your Match is the premier volunteer fair designed to bridge the gap between passionate individuals and meaningful volunteer opportunities. Whether you’re looking to share your skills, make new friends, or impact your community, your perfect match awaits!

“We cannot express enough how invaluable listing with Volunteer Peterborough has been for our organization in our search for dedicated individuals to join our Board of Directors,” said Tracey Randall, Peterborough Musicfest executive director.

“Not only were we able to find two volunteers with the talents we needed, we were also fortunate to find another volunteer who just wanted to volunteer with our chapter after talking with us. How wonderful is that?” said Leslie Yee, Chair of the Canadian Council For the Blind.

“Volunteer Peterborough is an invaluable source for connecting volunteers and their skills and interests with organizations and their specific needs. Very well organized and easy to use,” said Cheri Anderson, local volunteer.

This event will bring together 80 agencies and hundreds of volunteers seeking places to donate their time and talents!

Some organizations that are attending the event are:

  • Kiwanis Club of Scotts Plains

  • Peterborough Child and Family Centres

  • Peterborough Theatre Guild

  • PARN

  • Alternatives Community Program Services

  • 4th Line Theatre

  • All Saints' Anglican Church
