The Lakefield Animal Welfare Society is in dire need of wet food for their 30-plus kittens in care right now.

LAWS uses more canned food for kittens as they like it better at this stage of growing. They use a lot of Friskies, Whiskas in the plastic trays and Fancy Feasts, and try to stay away from the salmon cans because of the red dye that often makes them sick.

The Lakefield Animal Welfare Society's Shelter Is Full But Shelves Nearly Empty

The Lakefield Animal Welfare Society (LAWS) has put an urgent call on their Facebook page to the public as they are running out of food for cats and dogs at the Shelter.

LAWS posted to their Facebook page saying their shelter is completely full but their shelves are getting empty...

LAWS is in particular need of cat litter and canned and dry food for both cats and dogs.
