Jennifer Brown, who just graduated from Trent University with a biochemistry major, has won the Tim Hortons Duelling Donuts Contest. Her idea—creme brulee-filled doughnut topped with peanut butter cups—topped 76,500 submissions for the $10,000 grand prize.
Brown battled it out with three other finalists in an online vote, and will now get to see her creation sold in Tim Hortons restaurants across Canada.
The four finalists had been chosen by a panel including Jason Priestley, Ben Mulroney, Jann Arden and Anna Olson.

By now, if you don't know what the ALS ice bucket challenge is, you've been living under a rock. And if you've never heard of Breaking Bad and Walter White's shenanigans, you're in a very small minority. Peterborough's Miles Gibney, a part time radio news anchor in town, took the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge and combined it with a Breaking Bad theme to create one of the coolest videos we've seen during this fundraising craze.
