City of Peterborough Places Temporary Load Restrictions On Television Road

The City of Peterborough has placed temporary load restrictions on the Television Road bridge over Meade Creek while repairs strengthen the bridge and restore its full load capacity.

The bridge is located on Television Road between Keene Road and Maniece Avenue, just north of the Lansdowne Street East and Highway 7/115 intersection. 

Load restrictions are as follows:

  • Single-unit vehicles: 9 Tonnes 

  • Two-unit vehicles: 17 Tonnes 

  • Vehicle train: 23 Tonnes

Vehicles exceeding these loads must use alternate routes. Use of local residential roads for overweight vehicles is not recommended.
