The second quarter ran from July 1 to Sept. 30. During OLG’s fiscal year (April 1, 2026 to March 31, 2027), Peterborough has received $1,453,820. Since Shorelines opened in October 2018, Peterborough has received $19,200,156.

These payments to host communities are based on a formula consistently applied across all gaming sites in Ontario using a graduated scale of gaming revenue at the hosted site, as stated in a press release.

“OLG’s Municipality Contribution Agreement provides Peterborough with a share of local casino revenue to invest and enhance our community,” said Dave Smith, Peterborough-Kawartha MPP. “Gaming facilities generate economic activity, support local jobs and investment and provide revenue that helps fund priorities that are important to the people of Ontario.”
