11 Things To Do On A Snow Day For Teens & Tweens (As Imagined By Every Parent)

1. Shovel the driveway and sidewalk for your parents, and brush the snow off their car and the ice off their wipers.

2. Do your homework and study extra hard for your test you missed because it's a Snow Day.

3. Clean your bedroom and make your bed, and organize your desk space.

4. Vacuum the house, and dust, and empty the dishwasher. Do the laundry if you're being really ambitious.

5. Think about what you are going to prepare for dinner for your parents.

6. Bring the garbage and recyling out, and bring the empty recycling boxes back from the curbside.

7. Shovel your elderly neighbour's driveway.

8. Make hot chocolate with whip cream while you curl up and study, and then put your "MY PARENTS ROCK" mug in the dishwasher when you're done.

9. Call or text or DM or Snapchat your parents and ask how their day at work is going.

10. Go shovel the driveway again before your folks arrive home because more snow might have fallen.

11. Open the door when your parent(s) come home, and give them a big hug and tell them you idiolize them and you'll never argue with them again.
