The Peterborough Parkway Trail—a paved trail which runs from Fairbairn Avenue to the Riverview Park & Zoo—is being threatened by an approved roadway in the City's Transportation Master Plan.
There is a meeting tonight at the Peterborough Public Library from 6:30 p.m. to approximately 9:00 p.m. to raise awareness and discuss options.

Peterborough has a Official Plan Review, which is a long-term comprehensive framework for land use decision-making in our community.

Little Lake and Del Crary Park will be a busy spot this weekend as Peterborough's Dragon Boat Festival gets underway, with opening ceremonies taking place Friday evening at 7 p.m. and the races getting underway first thing Saturday morning. With funds raised this year for PRHC's Breast Assessment Centre, the hope is that they will reach the $2,000,000 mark since the festival first began in 2001. Come on out and support our paddlers!
