Peterborough Theatre Guild Kicks Off New Season Friday Night

 

The Peterborough Theatre Guild opens their new season on Friday night with Storm Warning, a comedy/drama/mystery that takes place at a cottage on Pigeon Lake  in 1953. For a full list of their 2011/2012 line-up, check out their Playbill. Tickets for all performances are $18/Adult, $16/Seniors and $10/Students.

There Is A Local Heritage Walk Sequel That Takes Place This Evening After Suppertime

A few weeks ago, Shifting Gears hosted two Heritage Walks throughout the community. Tonight they are hosting a sequel, guided by Jane's Walk Peterborough cofounder Chris Gooderham. There Is A Band-A-Thon In Support Of Zoo's New Animal Health Centre September 18th

On Sunday, September 18th, the Peterborough New Horizons Bands will be presenting a band-a-thon in support of the Peterborough Riverview Zoo’s Animal Healthcare Centre fundraising campaign.

Eight bands will be playing from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the zoo’s gazebo. Drop by, enjoy the music and make a contribution towards the building of a new Animal Health Centre. Rain date is September 25th.
