More than 100 people braved the chilly water today at Chemong Lake to take the Polar Plunge. Here are photos and an interview with one of the participants, Jay Scotland.

On Saturday (February 5th), the annual Kawartha Waterways Scouts Canada Kub Kar Rally was held at Crestwood Secondary School. Cubs from across the Peterborough area came together to test the limits of their hand-crafted cub cars. Trophys and medals were presented for both stock and custom designs, fastest run of the day, and overall fastest cumulative time. More than 150 kids entered cars they customized and decorated. —Text and pics by PtboCanada's Jeffrey Macklin
